WILMA DELOIS GRAVES BASKIN, age 81, of York, Alabama, born in Sumter County, Alabama to the union of the late Willis and Mary Lee Graves Cambric transitioned and entered into eternal rest January 4, 2021 at Rush Foundation Hospital, Meridian, Mississippi. Graveside Service of Memory and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Eastern Star Memorial Gardens, Millville Road, York. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Friday evening (January 8th) from 2-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. On Saturday afternoon at 12:40 p.m. the processional leaves from the residence of her son, Stanley Baskin, located 1607 East Fourth Avenue. Those who remain to cherish precious memories and to celebrate her life are: three sons, Dwight (Cheryl) Graves of Sumner, Washington, Stanley (Tequila) Baskin, York, Alabama, Gary (Linda) Graves, Livingston, AL., and one daughter, Yolanda Evette (Lloyd) Maye, Powder Springs, GA.; her son, Michael (Audrey) Graves preceding her in death; she was married to the late Mr. James Baskin; being further survived by twelve (12) grandchildren; fifteen (15) great grandchildren; one sister, Martha Tiddle, Inglewood, Calif; one brother, Charles Graves, Clallam Bay, Washington. Siblings that preceded her in death are, Joann Parker, Memphis, TN., Betty Lightfoot, York, AL., Willis Graves, Jr., Livingston, AL., and Maggie Ruth Graves, Bessemer, AL; nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives, many friends and her church family who truly loved her and whom she also loved; devoted life-long friends who loved her dearly, Bettye Maye of York, AL., Eva Dubose, Gary, IN. and Jean Jones of York, AL. (who preceded her in death.) To her children and the entire Graves/Baskin Family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.
