Willie enter the labor force as a Farmer and cattleman. Additionally he was also employed at American can company as a lumber Inspector for 40 years.
During the early years of his life Willie met and married the love of his life Ruby Lee Russell.
The blessing of this union brought forth 10 beautiful ,well respected and God fearing children into this world.
Willie truly loved his wife and family and he also loved helping and doing whatever he could for his neighbors ,whether sharing with them produce of the land that he grew in his fields as a farmer -cutting down trees and bringing them firewood during the cold harsh winter months in order to warm not just their body but there hearts -hearts filled with gratitude or just helping his neighbors repair their broken vehicles because he was also a skillful mechanic.
Willie accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and savior at an early age in harmony with Ecl. 12:1 at Bucks Chapel but currently has membership at Hixon Baptist Church.
Inside the walls of his church Willie served as a deacon and was also part of the masonic guild (mason) ,however he was best known for being God fearing ,a loyal supporter of the church ,a provider and protector of his family and a hustler. That's right a hustler! In his downtime he loved playing dominos and was a master at it!
His domino skill set was known far and wide and was feared by his opponents across the table.
Willie was warm-hearted and had a great sense of humor and would tease his opponents and laugh it off whenever they would beat him in dominos which was very rare.
All off his siblings are deceased. He was truly the last of his kind!
