TIMOTHY O'NEAL STURDIVANT, age 64 of York, Alabama, born to the union of J. T. and Betty Jean Burns Sturdivant transitioned and entered into eternal rest November 4, 2019 at University of Alabama Medical Center, Birmingham.  Service of Memory is slated for Monday, November 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from Johnson Baptist Church, Carl Turk Road 12, Livingston, Alabama with pastor, Rev. Samuel Harris delivering the eulogy and offering words of comfort and consolation; with Sis. Susie Sturdivant serving as Mistress Of Order.  Tim will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Interment follows in Cuba, Alabama in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 1000 Old Highway 11.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Sunday afternoon  (Nov. 10th) from 2-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. Timothy was educated in the Sumter County school system where he excelled in numerous sports.  After high school he moved to Illinois where he married Gail Miller.  To this union were born four children.  He later moved to York where he honed his carpentry skills.  He soon accepted Christ and joined Johnson Baptist Church in Livingston under the leadership of Rev. Samuel J. Harris.  Those who remain to cherish precious memories and to celebrate his life are:  two sons:  Timothy (Donae) Sturdivant, St. Paul, MN, and Kevin Croft, Peoria, IL;  two daughters:  Shanrica Sturdivant, St. Paul, MN and Kelly Sturdivant of York, Alabama; four brothers - Anthony and Michael Sturdivant, York, Al., Jerome (Susie) Sturdivant, Birmingham, AL. and Raynard (Felecia) Sturdivant of Athens, GA; three sisters:  Shelia (Marty) Lard and  Yulonda (Gregory) Chinn, York, AL. and Cassandra Sturdivant of Meridian, MS; two grandsons;  two special devoted friends - Diane Williams and Johnny Patrick and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous other friends who loved him and will miss him dearly. To the entire Sturdivant Family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain you during your many hours of sorrow.
