Sergeant Thomas Will Lewis

SERGEANT THOMAS WILL LEWIS was born April 14, 1951 in Gainesville, Alabama to the Blessed union of the late Willie Gee and Sallie Lewis.  He transitioned to the Will of God on February 28, 2026 at 11:43 p.m. at his York, Alabama residence surrounded by loving family.  Service of Remembrance and Life Celebration is slated for Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 12:00 noon from New Bethel Baptist Church, 222 New Bethel Road, Gainesville.  Rev. Frank Rogers is church pastor with Rev. Glenn Harris delivering the eulogy, offering words of comfort and consolation.  Interment to follow in New Bethel Cemetery.  Bro. Lewis will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Funeral Home Chapel. On Wednesday morning at 11:20 the processional leaves the funeral home driveway with Full Police Escort to New Bethel.
