NATHAN LEE GILMORE, age 59, of Ward, Alabama, born the tenth of eleven children to Johnny Edward and Annie Bell Ward Gilmore, transitioned and entered into eternal rest November 20, 2017 at his Ward residence.  Service of Remembrance and Celebration is Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Cooper's Mission C. M. E. Church, Jachin, Alabama.  Rev. Alicia Everett, pastor, will deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation; with Sis. Renee' Pringle serving as Mistress Of Order.   Bro. Gilmore will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Interment follows with full military honors in Ward Chapel Cemetery.  After the committal service, repast is in the Fellowship Hall of Cooper's.  On Friday evening, family and friends will have visitation from 3-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  The processional will depart from 724-4th Avenue, York, Alabama, the residence of his sister (Willie Gilmore Danner) on Saturday morning at 10:15.              Nathan "Bo" is preceded in death by a devoted father, Johnny Gilmore; brothers, Joe, George, General, infant Johnny, Jr. and Curtis, and his eldest sister, Mattie Pearl.             Those who remain to celebrate his life and to cherish precious memories are:  a loving mother, Annie Bell Gilmore, who he affectionately called "Mother Dear";  a caring brother, James (Jennie) of Los Angeles, CA;  three sisters - Jessie and Lizzie Gilmore, Ward, AL., and Willie Mae Danner of York, AL; his devoted friends - Neil Minor, Rev. Reginald Dickinson, Rev. Samuel Ezell and Bobby Portis;  three sisters-in-law, Bertha, Mary and Jennie, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who loved him dearly and he will truly be missed by all.              To the entire Gilmore Family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.  Our continued prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will forever give you comfort, help to strengthen and sustain you during your time of bereavement.
