Nancy Payten

NANCY PAYTEN, age 76, of York, Alabama, born in Choctaw County (Riderwood) Alabama to the union of the late William and Velma Moss Payten, transitioned and entered into eternal rest May 1, 2021 at Hill Hospital of Sumter County. Graveside Service of Memory and Life Celebration is slated for Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, located 2321 Tinker Road, Lisman, Alabama. Rev. Wilbert Travis, III will deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation; Bishop Johnny B. Payten is church pastor. The family will have viewing at the cemetery from 12:00 noon until funeral time. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (May 7th) from 3-6 p.m. in the Weatherly chapel.
