MARY ALYCE "Boosie" RUFFIN, age 80, of York, Alabama, born in Sumter County to the union of the late James Ruffin and Cleo Rowe Jones, transitioned and entered into eternal rest March 1, 2020 at Park Manor Nursing Facility, Northport, Alabama. Service of Memory is slated for Monday, March 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. Rev. Jonathan Byrd, pastor of First Baptist Church, 154 McConnell Street, York, Alabama will deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation, with Sister Audrey Graves serving as Musician. Interment will follow Tuesday morning, March 10, 2020 at 10:15 in the Alabama National Veterans Cemetery, located 3133 Highway 119 in Montevallo 35115. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Sunday afternoon (March 8th) from 2-5:00 p.m. also in the Weatherly Chapel.
