Madie Whitfield Prude

MADIE WHITFIELD PRUDE, age 82, of the Payneville Community of Livingston, Alabama, born in Kemper County, Mississippi to the late Crawley and Anna Brown Whitfield, transitioned and entered into eternal rest January 11, 2018 at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation.  Service of Remembrance is Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Central Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, 7503 Carl Turk Road 12, Livingston.  Dr. Gregory Watkins, pastor, will deliver the eulogy and offer words of comfort and consolation.  Sister Prude will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Interment follows in the Old Mt. Olive Cemetery, 215 Payneville-Millville Road 12, also Livingston.   After the committal service repast is in the Fellowship Hall of Old Mt. Olive.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (January 19th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  On Saturday morning the processional leaves the Prude residence at 10:40 a.m.       To the entire Whitfield and Prude families, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathies and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain you during your many hours of sorrow.
