James C. (Joe) Randolph  beloved father, brother and friend, was born on April 4,1952 in Choctaw County to Mr. Sam Randolph and Rosie Mae Gaines.

He grew up in Choctaw County and graduated from Kinterbish High School and later went on to work in several fields before retiring.

James peacefully transitioned departing his earthly life on July 2,2025 at the Anderson Baptist Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS.

Service of Remembrance and Life Celebration is slated for Friday, July 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the Weatherly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Ruffin, pastor of St. Matthew Baptist Church, Cuba, Alabama delivering the eulogy offering words of comfort and consolation.  Interment follows in the Old Mount Mariah Cemetery, located 2008 Mt. Mariah Road, Yantley community. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Thursday afternoon from 2-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.

James was proceeded in death by his parents, Sam and Rosie Mae; three brothers-Roosevelt Gaines, Solomon Randolph and Bennie Clifton Portis; two sisters, Minnie Kate Randolph and Rosie Elaine Portis and son Ronald "Bo" Spears.

James is survived by three sons; Marvin (Deborah) Spears of Choctaw County, Mitchell (Kimberly) Randolph of Vineland, Al and Calvin Ruffins; one daughter; Glenda Randolph of Vineland, AL and one stepson Demetrius (Victoria) Spears of Pinson, Al; Two sisters, Marlene (Ellee) Randolph Johnson of Cromwell, Al, Earlene (Curt) Randolph Speights of Sumter County; one brother, Leevelt (Shirley) Portis of Tomsuba, Ms; one sister-in-law Cathy Randolph of Sumter County. Twenty grandkids, six great-grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

"Joe' will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
