James Randolph

James C. Randolph (Joe) beloved father, brother and friend, was born on April 4,1952 in Choctaw County to Mr. Sam Randolph and Rosie Mae Gaines.

He grew up in Choctaw County and graduated from Kinterbish High School and later went on to work in several fields before retiring.

James departed his earthly life on July 2,2025 at the Anderson Regional Hospital in Meridian, MS.

James was proceeded in death by his parents, Sam and Rosie Mae; three brothers-Roosevelt Gaines, Solomon Randolph and Bennie Clifton Portis; two sisters, Minnie Kate Randolph and Rosie Elaine Portis and son Ronald "Bo" Spears.

James is survived by three sons; Marvin (Deborah) Spears of Choctaw County, Mitchell (Kimberly) Randolph of Vieland, Al and Calvin Ruffins; one daughter; Glenda Randolph of Vineland, AL and one stepson Demetrius (Victozia) Spears of Pinson, Al; Two sisters, Marlene (Ellee) Randolph Johnson of Cromwell, Al, Earlene (Curt) Randolph Speights of Sumter County; one brother, Leevelt (Shirley) Portis of Tomsuba, Ms; one sister-in-law Cathy Randolph of Sumter County. Twenty grandlads, six great-grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
