MRS. ETHEL MAE WEBB, age 91, born July 29, 1933 in Cuba, Sumter County, Alabama to the blessed union of the late George and Fannie Wallace; the younger of two daughters born to this couple.  She transitioned and entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2025 surrounded by loving family at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation, York, Alabama.  Graveside Service of Remembrance and Life Celebration is slated for Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in Morning Star Cemetery, located 4590 County Road 2, Cuba, with Rev. Willie Wilson, pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church, delivering the eulogy offering words of comfort and consolation.  After the Committal Service, a catered  repast will be held in the private Social area at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation to show appreciation to the staff and to welcome family and friends to fellowship.

Sister Webb's spiritual sunrise in Christ began at an early age when she accepted Christ as her Savior and joined with Morning Star Baptist Church, Cuba, Alabama.  She was educated in the School System of Sumter County Alabama.  Later in life she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late William H. Webb and  to this union was born her son Charles Webb who preceded her in death.  She was a housewife most of her life, but loved to cultivate her skill at facial makeup and beauty.  After living over fifty years in the state of Michigan, she relocated to York, Alabama.

Ethel leaves to cherish precious memories and to celebrate a life of love and longevity:  a loving and dedicated granddaughter, Sabrina Drummond Andrews, Tuscaloosa, AL; great grandson, Jordan Andrews of Atlanta, GA, and a great great granddaughter, Jaiden Skye Andrews, also of Atlanta, GA; nephews, Lee (Nellie) Eakins of Birmingham, AL. and Thomas (Angela) Eakins, Bessemer, AL; nieces, Doris (Roy) Brown of Fairfield, AL, Earnestine Eakins, Aliceville, AL, and Queen (Reginald) Wright of Atlanta, GA, a dear cousin Annie R. Gibbs of Los Angeles, CA., as well as numerous other cousins and relatives who loved her dearly and whom she also loved.

To the entire Webb Family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will lend to you a measure of comfort that will strengthen and sustain you during your time of bereavement.
