P and Pearl Huggins Pruitt, transitioned and entered into eternal rest March 27, 2020 in Hill Hospital of Sumter County. Graveside Service of Memory is Friday morning, April 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 11-East, also of York, Alabama. Rev. For a number of years, she cared for patients as a certified nurse assistant at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation, York, Alabama. Annette lived a fulfilling life as a loving mother and grandmother to two children, Martez and Kavon and two grandchildren - Kaicen and Amora; a caring sister to her siblings, and a humorous friend to many. She will be greatly missed for her unique sense of humor and immense care for others. Those who have preceded her in death are: her parents and her sister Lucille Kimbrough. However, those who remain to celebrate a life well lived are her sons, her grandchildren, one sister, Tommie Newton and her husband and children, three brothers - Tony, Walter and Jimmy and their children, and numerous other relatives and friends who truly loved her and those whom she also dearly loved. Surely, Annette will be missed! To the entire Rodgers family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences. Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort to strengthen and to sustain you during your time of bereavement.
