LATOSHA BERNICE HORN, age 68, of York, Alabama, born to the late Ramsey and Ovella Burton Naylor, entered into eternal rest June 15, 2016 in DCH Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa.  Service of Remembrance is Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from New Hope Baptist Church, 698 N. Broad Street, York.  Ms. Horn will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Rev. Akevia Burton, pastor, is to deliver the eulogy and offer words of consolation.  Interment follows in the Garden of Peace in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 11-East, also in York.  Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (June 24th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  On Saturday morning the processional leaves the Horn residence, located 112 Campbell Street / Apt. 4-B at 10:40 a.m.       Those who remain to celebrate her life and to cherish precious memories are:  four (4) sons - Quincy (Katie) Horn, Quinten Horn and Quindle Horn, all of York, Al., and Marcus (Delorus) Horn of Richlands, N.C; ten (10) special grandkids that she adored;  one special great grandson; two brothers, James and Charles Burton of Bessemer, Al;  two sisters who preceded her in death, Artha Mae ("Mot") Wilson and Barbara Prince;  three nieces that were just like her daughters - Kenosha Miller, Stephanie Miller, and Maiya Sturdivant;  two half sisters - Emma Gibbs and Jean Boyd, York, Al; two half brothers- Johnny Gibbs, York, Al. and Louis Gibbs, Livingston, Al; two very special friends who were always there for her - Bettye Joe Miller and Mary Noble; a host of nieces, nephews and  cousins and numerous other family members and friends who loved her dearly.       To the entire Horn Family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain you during your many hours of sorrow.
