       GREENBERRY AUSTIN, age 63, of York, Alabama, affectionately known as "Pee Wee", born in Sumter County, Alabama to the late James and Mary Coats Wabbington, departed this life May 4, 2016 in Specialty Hospital, Meridian, Mississippi.  Service of Remembrance is to be held May 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, Millville Road 19 in York, with Rev. James Granger, pastor, delivering the eulogy and offering words of consolation.  Mr. Austin will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Interment follows in the Coats family plot of Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 11-East, also in York.  After the committal service, the family will receive friends for repast in the Fellowship Hall of Mt. Herman. Visitation is scheduled May 13, 2016 from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel.  On Saturday morning at 10:40 a. m. the processional leaves the residence of his brother (Johnny P. Austin), located 1023 - 4th Avenue, York.       Those who remain to celebrate his life and to cherish precious memories of "Pee Wee" are:  one daughter, Latashia Austin, Meridian, MS., two brothers and five sisters, John (Bernice) Nixon, Johnnie (Rosie) Austin, Nellie Mae McCoy, Bobby (Leonard) Brown, Lucy (Bobby) Williams, Mary (Jimmie) Davis, all of York, Al., Shirley Foster of Tuscaloosa, Al., and a step-mother, Carrie Wabbington of York, Ala., seven adoptive brothers and sisters;  Tommy (Jean) McAboy, Robert (Vallie) McAboy, Eddie (Shirley) McAboy, Christine (Dean) Delaine, James Ray McAboy, Dorothy (Herbert), all of Cuba, AL. and Annibell Kirksey of Hattisburg, MS., two grandchildren, Jamario Austin and Jasmine Collins, and one great grandchild, Brayden Austin, all of Meridian, MS., and also a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved him dearly.       To the Austin family, we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy and condolences.  Our prayer remains that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, to strengthen and sustain you during your hours of sorrow.
