Tommy Lee Jefferson, age 63, of the Kinterbish community of Cuba, Alabama, a former resident for many years of Pontiac, Michigan, also the son of Melvin and Ernestine Jefferson and the father of Alex Ryan, passed at his residence April 9, 2016. Service of Remembrance is  to be held Thursday evening, April 14, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel, with viewing beginning at 3:00 pm.  Rev. Willie Harrison, pastor of his local church membership, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Cuba, will deliver words of consolation to the family.  In Michigan, Mr. Jefferson was a member of Prospect Missionary Baptist Church and was the Chief Court Officer for the City of Pontiac, Michigan's 50th District Court.  After additional services in Michigan on Monday, April 18th, Mr. Jefferson will be interred in Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac.  Those who remain to celebrate his life and cherish precious memories are: daughter, Alex Ryan Jefferson, Bloomfield Hills, MI; his special friend and companion, Sonya Hearn, Cuba, Al;  siblings, Louis Brooks, Chicago, IL., Arthur James Jefferson, Auburn Hills, MI., Mary Mason, Cuba, Al., and Leslie Green of Pontiac, MI., along with numerous other relatives and friends who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by siblings- Johnny Jefferson and Thelma Jefferson. To the Jefferson Family we at Weatherly Funeral Home offer to each of you our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy.  We trust and pray that your abiding faith in God will continue to comfort, strengthen and sustain you during your most profound time of sorrow.
