CURTIS EDWARD "Bubba" BROWN, SR., age 59, of Coatopa, Alabama, born to Jimmie Martin and Annie Louise Porter Brown, Sr. passed at his residence December 3, 2015.  Service of Remembrance is to be held December 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Abundant Life Church, 310 South Broad Street, York, Alabama.  Pastor Roy C. Allen will deliver the eulogy.  Mr. Brown will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.  Interment follows in Maye's Cemetery, located in the Prospect Community of Livingston, Alabama. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday evening (Dec. 11th) from 3-7:00 pm in the Weatherly Chapel, with the 6-7:00 p.m. hour designated for the Wake. He leaves to cherish his precious memories; A Wife, Annie Louise Brown, Seven children; Curtis Brown Jr. who preceded him in death, Anthony (Carlean) Brown, Curtis (Terecia) Brown III, Melissa Brown, Mario ( Gwen ) Brown, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Maria Brown, York, Alabama and Shakeria Williams, Livingston, Alabama. Sixteen Grandchildren: James Akins, Randall Robinson, Anthony Akins, Devin Brown, Aysa Brown, Leon Brown, Brandon Robinson, Anias Brown, Jalen Brown, Justin Brown, Ezra Brown, Se’Mariya Brown, V’ronica Jones, Kevin Brown, Averyanna Williams, and Kaleigh Williams. Four Stepchildren: Frankie, Bobbie Nell and Jennifer, Birmingham, Alabama. Thirteen Step Grandchildren: York, Livingston, & Birmingham, Alabama. Father-In-Law: Mr. Lee (Joyce) Lynch, Montgomery, Alabama. Four Sisters-In-Law; Demopolis, Alabama. Four Brothers-In-law, Livingston, Alabama. One Sister; Shirley (Tommy) Carter Sr., Livingston, Alabama. Six Brothers; Jimmie (Doris) Brown Jr., Ohio who preceded him in death, Major (Dorothy) Brown, Maryland, John Brown, Texas, Arthur (Josephine) Scales, Birmingham, Alabama who preceded him in death, James (Brenda) Scales Sr., Atlanta, Georgia, and Leon (Debra ) Scales, Livingston, Alabama. One brother-In-Law, four Sisters-In-Law. One Uncle; Willie C. Maye, Livingston, Alabama. One Aunt; Mattie Crockett, Livingston, Alabama. A host of nieces, nephews, numerous of cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
