Demarcus Datrayl Ruffin

        DeMarcus Datrayl Ruffin, age 29, of Cuba, Alabama passed at his residence June 2, 2015.  The combined funeral service of remembrance with James Matthew Kirksey will be Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 12:00 noon from Morning Star Baptist Church, in the Morning Star Community of Cuba.  Rev. Willie D. Wilson, pastor, will deliver the eulogy and offer words of consolation.  "Dee" will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time with interment following in Morning Star Cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends is Monday evening (June 8th) from 3-6:00 p. m. at the Weatherly Chapel.         Those left to cherish precious memories are:  his mother whom he loved dearly; Yolanda Ruffin of Cuba, AL and father Eddie J. Gibbs of Meridian, MS; one brother, LeDerrius Gibbs of Houston, TX; two grandmothers: Zella Ruffin and (the late Vinnie Hill) Gracie Gibbs both of Cuba, AL, a grandfather; M.C. (Geraldine) McVay of Cuba, AL, three uncles: Donovin (Elizabeth) Ruffin of Houston, TX; George and Michael Charles McVay both of Meridian, MS; three aunts, Renesae Turkvant of Virginia, Ungrell Mosley of Atlanta, GA and Valerie Ruffin of Laurel, MS; a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by a baby brother Jacorby Jackson, a grandfather James Ruffin and grandmother Vinnie Hill.
